These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Food GH’s website, mobile application, and services (collectively, “the Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be legally bound by these Terms.


1. Overview

Food GH is an online marketplace that connects:

  • Food vendors to sell meals online,

  • Customers to order meals for delivery,

  • Motorbike riders to fulfill deliveries, and

  • Fleet partners and investors to join and profit from our logistics and delivery ecosystem.

These Terms apply to all users, including vendors, riders, partners, customers, and visitors.


2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a legally binding agreement under applicable Ghanaian laws to use this platform.


3. User Responsibilities

A. Vendors

  • Must provide accurate business information and keep menus and pricing updated.

  • Are responsible for fulfilling all orders in a timely and hygienic manner.

  • Must adhere to local food safety regulations.

  • Must notify Food GH of any service delays or operational issues.

B. Customers

  • Must provide correct delivery details and be available to receive orders.

  • Are responsible for reviewing their order before confirming payment.

  • May not misuse, resell, or tamper with any food or delivery services.

  • Agree to pay all applicable fees promptly and in full.

C. Riders

  • Must provide valid documents (ID, license, insurance).

  • Are expected to deliver orders promptly and professionally.

  • Must keep the app’s GPS/location services enabled while active.

  • Are responsible for the security of food during delivery.

D. Fleet Partners & Investors

  • Must supply valid documentation for vehicle ownership and/or investment agreements.

  • Are entitled to returns or usage fees as agreed upon under separate signed agreements.

  • Must maintain operational standards and vehicle roadworthiness.


4. Orders and Payments

  • All orders are confirmed only after successful payment.

  • Food GH uses secure third-party processors (e.g., MTN Momo, Paystack, Hubtel).

  • Payment-related disputes should first be raised via support@foodgh.com.

  • Prices may include VAT, delivery fees, and other applicable charges.


5. Refunds and Cancellations

  • Orders canceled before vendor confirmation may be eligible for full refund.

  • Once food preparation or dispatch begins, refunds are not guaranteed.

  • If you receive the wrong or spoiled order, contact support within 24 hours with proof (photo or video).

  • All approved refunds will be processed within 5–10 business days.


6. Account Security

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining confidentiality of your login credentials

  • All activity conducted under your account

  • Notifying us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use

Food GH will not be liable for losses due to unauthorized access unless caused by our own negligence.


7. Intellectual Property

All content on the platform—including logos, texts, product images, software, and branding—is the intellectual property of Food GH and may not be copied, modified, or reused without written permission.


8. Prohibited Conduct

Users agree not to:

  • Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content

  • Engage in abusive or harmful behavior

  • Disrupt platform operations or services

  • Attempt to hack, reverse-engineer, or compromise the system

  • Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes


9. Limitation of Liability

Food GH is not liable for:

  • Loss of income, data, or business opportunities

  • Delays caused by third-party service providers

  • Food-related issues (e.g., allergies, portion sizes) beyond our control

  • Rider-related issues unless directly under a Food GH fleet contract

We strive to deliver quality service, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.


10. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or permanently disable any user account that:

  • Violates these Terms

  • Is suspected of fraud or abuse

  • Fails verification or provides false information

You may also request account deletion at any time by contacting support.


11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. Any legal dispute arising from use of the platform shall be settled in the competent courts of Ghana.


12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. We’ll notify you through the platform or by email when material changes are made. Your continued use means you accept the updated Terms.
